Our services are based on four fundamental principles:
Affordable housing
Nicholson Tower
Located in the heart of Vancouver’s West End, Nicholson Tower provides below-market affordable housing. It serves low to moderate income residents who live independently.
Somerville Place
Located on Powell Street, Somerville Place provides studio apartments at fixed rents based on BC Housing’s Homeless at Risk guidelines. It serves people on fixed or low incomes at risk of homelessness.
The View
A fixture in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, The View provides affordable housing for independent living. It serves people on fixed or low-incomes and at risk of homelessness.
Mental health housing
Cecelia House
Cecelia House provides long-term, semi-independent supportive housing on Powell Street. It serves adults over 19 who are unable to live independently related to a serious and persistent mental health issue.
Santiago Lodge
Santiago Lodge provides long-term, semi-independent supportive housing on Powell Street. It serves adults over 19 who are unable to live independently related to a serious and persistent mental health issue.
Victory House
Victory House provides long-term supportive housing with 24-hour care on Cordova Street. It serves adults 19 and older who are unable to live independently related to a serious and persistent mental health issue.
Shelter & transition housing for women and family
Powell Place emergency shelter
Powell Place serves people self-identifying as a woman who live with violence, abuse, poverty, mental illness and addiction. Beds are available on a first come, first served basis.
Springhouse emergency shelter and transition housing
Springhouse serves single women and women-led families. The shelter accepts male children over age 12. The transition housing units support families.
Supportive housing
Cordova House
Located on Cordova Street, Cordova House serves people 45 and older facing chronic physical and mental health challenges. It provides 24/7 support and furnished rooms.
